Hands On Stow - Cleaning Up Our City Together

Get Involved in Your Community

Ongoing Support

Next clean up day: Spring 2010 (Saturday, April 17) (sign up)

Keeping our city clean involves the entire community. If each person in Stow picked up one piece of trash every day, imagine what a difference that would make. Now, imagine an organized system where "Crews" of people meet regularly to clean up a stretch of road somewhere in the city.

Three times throughout the year, the City of Stow will provide "Pick Up Points" where Crews can drop off trash collected that day.

As many Crews as possible are encouraged to "take ownership" of a strip of road or neighborhood that they will clean up on these designated days during the year. This volunteer role will play a vital part in keeping Stow clean year-round.

Our "Street Crews" are established, and we're now looking for crews to start covering neighborhoods, office complexes and parks. We'll really be focusing on Hands on Stow Day as our big event in 2010. We want YOU to get your neighborhood involved!

Sign-up for this ongoing community support is available online and during the Hands On Stow Day event.
